1. introduction and objectiveTaj Frozen Foods India Limited has been incorporated on 28th December, 2004. The Company was promoted by M r.Ajay Palkar and Mr. Uttamrao Shivram Zagade. AAFPL is engaged in the business of export of IQF FrozenFruits, Vegetables. The Company produces / processes finest vegetables by using IQF techniques which is a natural way of preserving vegetables. The Company has plant is located at Plot No. C-90/91, Additional M.I.D.C., Jejuri, Taluka : Purandhar, District - Pune - 412303.Taj Frozen Foods India Limited is a company formed by professional who have been in the frozen foods industry for several years and have experiences of right sourcing, processing, packing, storage and marketing. The technique that will be used for food preservation will be Naturaltechnique Called "FREEZING" that too Individually Quick Freezing technique (IQF). While using IQF technique for food preservations the company will ensure tha t NO Chemical preservatives are being used for enhancing the Shelf life of the product. "FRESHER THEN FRESH" is the slogan for all the vegetables that are processed using IQF technique. Just to explain the "fresher then fresh" slogan. Vegetables are processed within maximum 4 hours from the time it isharvested thereby retaining all the nutrious values however what everybody terms as "Fresh" is actually a produce which has been received by him after 48 hours and he take another 12 - 24 hours for consuming the vegetables. The nutrition in so called fresh vegetable is almost lost in this 36 hours. However all the nutrition is maintained in the frozen product once the product is washed, Blanched and Quick Frozen. Taj Frozen Foods India Limited will process various vegetables like Okra, peas, sweet corn etc and will supply them to various markets across India and abroad. The planned production capacity is around 5000 MT for which company will be installing a state of Art IQF process line with storage capacity of around 1000 MT. The Goods will be processed in the season and will be supplied through out India and abroad during lean season there by ensuring that the company gets pricing advantage for supplying goods during off season.
