Debabrata MSD India OPC Pvt Ltd under the Trade name DMI India which is making great progress in ensuring extensive markets for small producer farmers spread across different locations in West Bengal. OMDC was set up in 2019 as a one person Company by Shri Debabrata Mandal.
Mr. Debabrata Mandal is the Director of OPC Company. Having worked in the agriculture sector for over 26 years he has extensive knowledge from production to distribution of fruits and vegetables. He has contributed to the Sufal Bangla a flagship programme of Government of West Bengal, Department of Agriculture Marketing. In this position he also was instrumental in making the Kawasaki Solar Warehousing functional which was supported by Government of Japan to Government of West Bengal. Thereafter Mr. Mandal embarked upon his own enterprise with the objective of improving availability of clean, healthy graded fruits and vegetables to consumers at the best price through doorstep delivery of services.
Currently we are operational in North Bengal specifically Jalpaiguri and covering the cities of Jalpaiguri, Siliguri, Haldibari and Maynaguri. Starting with 04 consumer per day our registered customers are currently 1225 and we are increasing our consumer base. Today DM India is a well-known brand among its consumers. This has been possible because we have been able to maintain on our quality and timeliness of delivery.

Strong network- We have a strong network of Farmer Producer Organisations, individual producers and other intermediaries from whom we are able to source various seasonal vegetables and fruits from across several regions of West Bengal. Some of our suppliers include Magrahaat Farmer Producer Company promoted under NVIUC and also from Mechhua.
Dedicated team: Our dedicated and strong team is well trained in value addition of fruits and vegetables by doing grading, sorting and packaging. The team comprises of mainly women members who are trained to maintain standards of hygiene. Vegetables undergo fumigation before being supplied.
Timely Delivery : Freshness of produce is our priority because of which we are committed to supply farm produce to our end consumers within 4 hours of harvesting which helps to retain the freshness and taste. We procure most vegetables from the farm gate of the producer.
Maintaining Quality: Quality of fruits and vegetables is ensured through freshness as mentioned above. In addition, it includes sizing of vegetables, grading according to size, injury, shape. Thereafter packaging is done based on different weight and the products are packaged in packaging net with golden rubber band. Products carry the tag of the farmers name and location as well as contact number.
Transparency in pricing: We offer the best fair price to the consumers which is transparent as most payments happen through bank transfer and other online platforms. Only Cash on delivery is exceptional. Our main objective is that the producer gets the best price for their produce. Therefore, we ensure that pricing is transparent and the consumer as well as the producer gets the best rate prevalent in a particular time.
We have an IT enabled system in place where consumers can register themselves and place their order. We deliver between 10:00 am to 7:00 pm for regular consumers. For bulk consumers we are flexible as per their requirement.
